Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Qualia Inc. ("Formanta", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit formanta.ai or contact us through it.

It covers this website only. When a customer uses Formanta products to process voice data, the customer decides how that data is used, and the processing is governed by the agreement with that customer.

What we collect

• What you send us. When you use a contact form, we receive your work email address, the request you chose (for example a demo or early access), and anything else you enter in the form.
• Technical data. When you load a page, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, and keeps them in server logs.

We do not ask for voice recordings or other biometric data through this website.

Why we use it

• To reply to your request and arrange a demo, a pilot or early access. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries.
• To keep the website working and secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a reliable and safe website.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Who receives it

We use service providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Google (Firebase Hosting) to host the website, and Google Fonts to deliver the fonts it uses. Your browser connects to Google servers to load them.
• Google (Google Workspace) to store contact form submissions and to notify us of them by email.
• Our email provider, to correspond with you.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or to protect our rights.

International transfers

Qualia Inc. is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred, we rely on safeguards recognised by those laws, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep contact requests and related correspondence for as long as we are in touch with you, and for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is required by law or we enter into a contract with you. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a limited period for security and operations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy in a portable format. To use any of these rights, write to privacy@formanta.ai. We will answer within the time the law requires, usually one month.

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of that request.

If we add analytics or other tools that use cookies, we will update this section and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.

Children

This website is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
